Must Love Black & White... and Beaches.

About a week ago I had the opportunity to travel to Florida and work on both coasts.  Seeing the awesome differences between the calmness of the gulf coast and the mighty waves & wind of the Atlantic is something every land-locked person would enjoy.  But at the heart of my visit was to photograph dear friends- one for business portraits and the other just to capture kids being themselves on a very windy beach.
What they really love is black and white imagery and this is the result.  Color on a beach is relatively easy however, great B&W images are an art form- and I loved the challenge of capturing the flavor of the beach in hues of gray with warm toned shadows.  These will make stunning gallery prints on their home walls and I wish I could truly display (here) just how amazing the original images are!  Watch the video below in full-screen and let me know what you think...
