This years guest of honor was her excellency, the first lady of Mongolia, Bolormaa Khajidsuren.
This year was by far the largest & most successful event- I heard estimates of about 2,000 people in attendance- and they may have outgrown the largest room in the state outside of the actual convention center! Rio Tinto was the primary sponsor of the event. Covering the expenses on this gourmet lunch and enormous event was quite a gift. This enabled 100% of the donations to go directly to Project C.U.R.E.'s efforts in Mongolia where cancer is ravaging the poor and rural areas where there is little or no access to health care.
If you are looking for a great organization (where less than 2% of all donations go to operating costs!) that makes a difference all over the globe- look no further than Project C.U.R.E. And if you are wanting a fun and meaningful place to plug-in your family, friends and philanthropic giving- you will ALL find rewards on many different levels. You and even your children can sort and package donated medical supplies at their Centennial, CO location to help save lives all over the world. And even maybe in Mongolia!
